Default New truck owner, lots of questions

Just bought a new 06 1500 QC SXT package. V6, premium cloth 40-20-40, carpet, power windows/locks, power heated mirrors, 17" steel chrome clad wheels, 4 speed auto, 3.92 axle. Paid a little over 17k, good or bad deal?
First off I managed to put a small scratch near the door handle. My house key was in a weird posistion and scratched the paint a little. How should I go about fixing this? I really love this truck and need to know what add on's are essential for protection, interior/exterior. Is it possible to replace my stock center seat with a oem cargo "jumpseat"? If so where could a find a cargo console?

Depends on what your gonna be using your truck for as fas as protection goes i would recommend bed caps for your bed my tailgate seems as soft as butter i was loading a box spring in the back of my truck and hit the top of the tailgate and dented it. And it seems like you paid about average for the truck you got.

I think a nice usefull accesory would be a Keyless entry\remote start system
beyond the obvious convienences, your keys would no longer need to be
near your door! no more pesky scratches

Spray in bed liner, I like the Line-X liners amd will be having mine done soon as well. You can get a little bottle of touch up paint from your local Dodge dealer for about $7.00 and since it is from dodge it will be a perfect match.

go with a spray in liner, I got mine over the rails and love it. It was $300 from the dealer. Also that price is good because yours is loaded minus keyless entry. I own a 2006 ram RCSB 2wd and it's the SLT I have the upgraded 17's keyless entry power seats and the over head computer with the MPG and temp and all that and I also have a HEMI and mine was 22K it was 28K before I got the 5K rebate and a 1K discount because the salesman was a family friend. How do you like driving the V6? Is it totally gutless?

I got the Line-X spray-in under the rails bedliner when I bought my truck. It's definitely worth it if you are going to haul anything at all. Not to mention it comes with a lifetime nationwide warranty.
