Anyone have pics of the Mopar hard tonneau??
I'm going to buy a hard tonneau for my 04 Ram. I've looked at some third party covers but would be interested in seeing what the Mopar covers look like. The Mopar site has no pics that I could find, just part numbers. If anyone has a Dodge/Mopar hard tonneau, I would be interested in seeing some pics or even tell me what you think of it. How do they compare to the ARE covers?

Does anyone know if this is still the same way for the 2008?
I am debating between the MOPAR hard tonneau and the MOPAR hard folding tonneau. I don't haul many large things in the truck but most of what I have was a impulse buy 75+ miles from the house.
Thoughts between the two covers? Do either one keep the weather out?
btw, I am looking at MOPAR's due to the fact that I have a couple of grand in Dealer Dollars from my Jeep credit card, and would walk out of the deal with a free cover.

I have the folding tonneau. I can take some pictures for you this weekend. It is made up of 4 panels. For purposes of explanation, call panel 1 the one closest to your rear window. There is a clamp between panels 1 and 2 on each side of the bed to clamp the cover to the bed. you can fold panel 1 back by itself for access to the bed. Or you can fold panels 2, 3, and 4 back together for more access to the bed. The cover has locks at panels 1 and 4 and keeps the tailgate from being open when the cover is closed. As for being waterproof, it is not 100% waterproof...I'll show you some pictures as to why this is when I take them. Mostly just a tiny bit of water after a REALLY REALLY heavy rain or when washing the vehicle...so I am satisfied with it.
Also, get a bed liner before the tonneau cover...spray in's are awesome. I have a Line-X over-the-rail. When you decide to get a bed liner later (and you will) it will keep you or someone else from having to re-install the cover.

Navyplt I would like to see some pics when you get a chance, the folding one is the one that I am leaning on, due to the fact I don't totally lose the use of the bedwith out removing the cover for large items. Water (leakage) has been my hold back. I have thought about using dry bags also for my gear for long trips but then again the truck for long trips will have the camper behind it.
I have a spray in liner, but it is under the rail. It has aleady come in handy with protection.
TIA for the pics.
