that's true, i know my 2wd will spin them sometimes. You should get intake, headers, cat back a superchip and a 6.1 cam and go own people with the awd

I have the Same truck as you, 2004 4X4 Larime Hemi with AWD, It jumps off the line as all 4 tires grab with almost no spin but I think it is heavier due to the transfer case axles etc. Better just go and race him and let us know the outcome. Only down sides so far are the gas millage and not being able to do donuts in the dirt.

Im not sure if he'll actually sit and spin the tires if any. On my 05' SC 4x2 I can't spin them at all. Ive been able to chirp them off the line and again about 30-35mph but have never just sat there (unless the road is soaked but then again thats only for about a second and then my tred catches.). Ive also raced my friends 03' 4x4 and he's lost everytime even when mine was a stocker. I'd say if you are going to race him do it in the rain where you will be sure to jump off the line while he will probably sit there for a short period of time..... Besides 4x4's aren't meant for street racing anyways.

In any case tell us how it goes down when it does.

yea i kno the 4x4 isnt meant for street racing. i got the truck originally for work. i have a roofing business and i needed something to haul a pallet of shingles and a low boy trailier. so i went with the hemi 4x4. my friend got his 2x4 hemi a couple of weeks ago and hes talking mad ****. so im just gonna race him and prob loose. but i guarantee ya that this 4x4 hemi will see 13s soon. i dunno if theres any 4x4 hemi's that are fast on this forum, but i wanna be one of the first ones. also do ya think a 50shot of nitrous would seriously hurt my motor? my motor has 20k miles on it. and the nos kit is off my mustang sitting in my room and its tempting to put it on the truck and hit the track.
