Ok I saw the post that a slightly modded deisil is no match for our Hemis. If this is true would it be realistic to get a deisel into the 12's or 11's and still be able to pull a race car with it? If I went this route it would be a 4x4 QC 3/4 ton. Is my insanity getting the best of me?

 

its very easy to get extra power and torque out of a diesel. and yes getting a diesel into low low numbers is possible. have you seen the banks diesel that drove to the race track pulling its own parts trailer. put some new rims and tires on it and set a record for worlds fastest pickup truck. i remember a post on here a few months ago about a guy whose brother had a 4x4 dually that ran like 10s or 11s and then got used for work on the ranch during the week.
