pulls left...brakes right
06 2500 reg cab slt 4x4. I had my tires balanced, all four tires set at 55 psi, now my truck likes to pull to the left, when I brake, my truck pulls to the right, I don't have time to get into the dealer this week, and it's getting worse, any one else have thease issues on the 06 2500?
I'm at 7000 KM.

If it is pulling the right when you brake you probably have a caliper hanging up on the left front. Seems odd with no more miles than it has on it but in a disc brake system that is about all that can cause a pull when braking. As far as the pull to the left you may want to have the dealer check out the alignment. I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, I'm just trying to offer solutions, good luck.
I would have to agree with the caliper hanging up also. But I would think that if it is pulling to the right, then the bad caliper would be on the right side, not the left. The pulling to the left while driving I would have to say that it is an alignment issue. Maybe the 'toe' is off.
Id think it would just be the left caliper and not an alignment issue. If you think about it, if the left caliper is hung up then while driving it would pull to the left and while braking only the right would be working correctly causing more of a pull to the right than the left. Id still go get the alignment checked out afterwards but Id put my money on it having to do with just the left caliper getting hung, stuck or constantly engaged.

If the left caliper is hung-up, by which I meat the piston is stuck and is not extending from the housing when the brakes are applied, then it would not function. It would pull to the right because the right side caliper is the only one operating correctly. I'm just trying to explain the theory here, not be an *** or anything like that.

Truckin, not looking for an argument but considering my I am ASE certified in brakes, I'm pretty sure I am right, I could be wrong but I doubt it.

I just had a thought that a rotor could be warpped, this would anser the braking question...as for the alignment/tracking I will grab my garden hose, wet down some pavement and drive threw and check the tread patrens on the dry pavement....
