Jerking while accelerating
just to be sure my powershifting is what ur powershifting is.... when i get to where i want to shift i pull the truck out of gear and then as the engine RPMs are lowering i gradualy wait for the right RPM to hit to where the tranny just slides into gear as in the same way a Semi shifts..unless im wrong about this and just to used to semi trannys thanks....and its got a grinding noise while the clutch pedal isnt pressed but once i move the pedal just a lil bit it goes away then it starts to squeek...any ideas thanks and if the tranny was going out right when i push the clutch i put it into gear wouldnt it grind because the clutch doesnt engage fast enough?
Im sorry if i sound stupid but ive only Drove automatics and Semis not Stick pickups besides a diesel 95 F350 at work with 300k+ miles.

doesn't sound like the gears, more along the clutch. I would always use the clutch for shifting on your pick up. The grinding is probably the teeth trying to transfer to the next gear from neutral.
1100 RPMS at 15 MPH in 3rd gear??
no wonder it is bucking. Your in too high of a gear to be going that slow. Read in your owners manual for the optimal speeds for each gear. Anytime your in a gear and it motor bogs down and bucks you need to be downshifting to a lower gear and then accelerate.

I'm having a similar issue with 2002 auto - 3-4 times a times a day I get hard 2nd shift. But this typically occurs when not pushing the issue with hard acceleration. Normally, I drive like a bat out of hell and dont have this issue. I just had this exact same issue with my Trooper and I cleaned the range selector to fix the problem. Any ideas?
While I think just about everyone agrees that he should probably rev it a little higher than running 3rd gear at 15mph, the issue here is that he used to do it with no problems, and now he has problems, which indicates something has changed. From your description, clutch is the immediate things that comes to most people's minds, but engines can misfire at low rpms under loads too. It could be a number of things...
Well... there are different types of manual transmissions.... There is the one in your pick up... which has to clutched..... or problems will arise... and then theres ones that don't need itdue to the synchos being set up different... .keep power shifting your pickup like that and the garage will be power shifting your credit card thru the slot.... and keep your speed in the range for the gear or you'll start breaking teeth on your gears...or snap the driveshafts while bucking....
