What you guys pay for insurance??
I was just curious. I found a 02 Quad Cab 4x4 that I was going to purchase, but my insurance co said it was going to be $1100 every 6 months. There is no way I will pay that or can on top of the truck payment itself. Bad thing about it is my Camaro and my Gixxer cost me that much together every year. Actually $1400, but that’s better then $2200 a year. My record is mainly clean. I did get two tickets, but one got dismissed, and the other I went to traffic school for.
Anyway I'm sure people pay more or less depending on where they live, and if there married or not. Do you all think that’s reasonable to pay that much?

I've got Full coverage on my 2005, 4x4, and PLPD (basic) on my 1998 neon. I pay $1577.88 a year for both. The car only costs me about $250 every 6 months, so that makes the truck about 1077 a year. My insurance just dropped about $300 a year back in the spring when I turned 25 so I was thrilled about that. I also have zero points on my record.

Way to many variables to ask this question. Age, gender, driving record, multi veh and home discounts, etc. You need to shop around and get the best quote. For example; I'm old, have multi veh's, no tickets, same home policy, etc....I pay only $250 every 6 mos for full coverage on my 2005 1500 SLT. It's tough for young people these day's. That's way half the people don't carry insurance and the rest of us pay.

I agree with happydays. Way to many veriables. You also have to look where you live, are you on a high risk policy or prefered, what coverages you have or need. There are a lot more. I work for Allstate in OK and we use credit, driving record, and prior insurance as main facotrs. We also look at age, what car, married/single, own your own home and more. I know at one time Geico used your occupation and highest completed education the way we use credit. So to compare insurance is really pointless because there are way to many factors.

male, 18, las vegas, clean driving record, 06 hemi ram rcsb 2wd. I'm second on the title behind my dad so it is insured in his name and i'm at 100 a month with the good student discount for full coverage and a $500 deductable. I could have liability only being as that when I bought my truck I put a huge chunk down and since I don't have any credit my parents put the rest down and I am paying them off.
