i have flowmaster 40 series behinde the tires ( nascar style) and the interior noise is not bad, at cruise u can barley notice it but when u step on it it is very noticable. now i have it dumped right before the axle but i dont think u would like it theres alot of interior noise

for least interior noise, you will not want a chambered muffler. I would go with a Magnaflow/Borla/Dynomax straight through muffler and run it out the side (or back, whatever you prefer)

I have a Borla Cat-Back on my 05' and its wonderfull. At cruising speed its very quiet and sitting at idle its quiet too but as soon as you open it up though it screams performance. The only down side is the price, I paid $750 for my setup after taxes installed out the door. Magnaflows are also a very quiet setup and cost a bit less than a Borla Setup. Also if you want it even quieter just get the muffler and keep the resonator on and it will calm down just about any muffler you want to throw on it.
