Ok guys don't laugh at me for this one. If you put a remote starter on your truck, do you have to have the key in the ignition for it to crank??? I don't understand how it works!!!

 

No you dont need the key in the ignition. All you do is press the button on the remote and it starts up, the truck remains locked until you unlock it. Then when you get in the truck you put the key in the ignition then turn it forward and hit the brake and your ready to go. Better get one before it gets too cold.
