Default SRT-10 Hood and ram air install *pics*

Well here's the before/after pics of the truck. I know the light's arn't straight but it's because the fenders are still ****ed. Those are next on the todo list. Otherwise it's the SRT-10 hood with Mopar functional Ram air scoop.

Looks good. Hope you can get the fenders and lights taken care of soon. Does the ram air intake sound deep and throaty like the CAI's do?

God I love that big mouth grill. Got it on my "to-do" list. I have the sport painted bumpers and the grill comes with the chrome surround. Do you think it will look OK or should I paint it?

I couldn't tell you about the sound from a CAI I don't know any1 that has one, so I can't compare. It definetly woke the truck up @ WOT it's really loud. I ordered everything from www.ramairhood.com it says that it's a mopar system.

got hemi, this particular grill I wouldn't recommend painting. I was considering doing the rim in mineral grey but it's just plastic like the OEM. You can't really paint that to well, w/o it looking like crap in 5 months.

That hood and grill look great together! Nice!
I like the painted sport front ends but I like the chromed ones equally.
I think Dodge has two great looks going there.
Again, That is one NICE hood!

I am in the same boat. I was looking at that grill a long time ago, but I dont think the chrome would look right seeing how I dont have any chrome anywhere else! SO I have been looking at the inserts for the grill and the area under the grill...

Hey cupcake, just curious, what do you do for air filters now? Is there an off the shelf filter you can use, or do you have to get filters from that company from now on? Also, how does the scoop handle heavy rain?

The filter has a part # on it so I don't see it being very hard to find. Also I don't know about the heavy rain, it isn't my DD, and i don't drive it in rain lol. When I wash it, it gets a pretty good amount of water in there but when I turn the truck on after like 20 minutes everything runs fine.
