I got news for you 99.9% of all vehicles are used in extreme conditions. The weather in most of the contanental US alone will classify extreme use by the dealers standards.

I use Mobil 1 oil and filters on all my vehicles and change them all at 3,000 miles. To me its a cheap piece of mind. $63.00 for a shop to change your oil, ain't a bad price if you ask me. I pay $6/quart X 7 quarts = $42 + $11 for a mobil 1 filter =$53 X 6% = $56.18 (roughly). So they are only charging you $7 labor and oil (and filter) diposal? Not bad. Although I prefer to do my own, just because it gives me a chance to check out the undercarraige, and I think I do a better job of letting ALL the oil out, vs. being on a clock at a shop. Just my $.02

If you think $63.00 is expensive for an oil change. Wait until you get to the 30,000 mile service and drop a cool $700 to the dealer so you dont void your warranty.

Hemi's are expensive, BUT.. worth every penny.
