hey can one of you guys tell me where i might be able to find the bolt on hood scoop for your gen. ram that came factory? its like $300 at the dealer and i would like to find one ALOT cheaper!

 

go to ebay or yahoo and look for it... I believe Lund makes one for like $80.....they arent bolt on, they are double sided tape.

 

I put the lunds on mine. Painted to match.

A couple more pics. If you look close, you can see on the front of the scoop I put the "5.7 LITRE" part of the HEMI badge that use to be on the front fender. With flares it wouldn't fit on the fender anymore so I improvised.

im looking for the factory metal one. its gunna be put on and have body work done to it. and then be made functional. no double sided tape mess for me.

 

Im looking for one like this. either from the factory or an aftermarket one but i has to be metal.

I don't think even the factory HEMI Sport or Rumble Bee type scoop is metal. They are either fiberglass or some kind of plastic, but not metal.
