on my 03 hemi what is the pipe size of the headers going into the y-pipe? im getting a high flow one but dont know what size to step up too.
any sugggestions?

do i want to match the same pipe size as the ones coming from the exhaust manifolds or go a little larger and get a reducer put on infront of the y-pipe?

 

I have never measured, but when I was having my exhaust put on, the guy at the shop said it was 2.25" from the cats to the Y.

 

go to ebay , check out user named ssiindustries. i have his headers they come with all hardware and a new y pipe that is a bolt in full polished stainless steel for under $200

 

easy install?? more power? there was a debate on this guys headers a while back but no one stepped up to buy.

any leaks?
also they mentioned you have to add an egr bypass or soemthing( small tube on front of header)
any issues witht that?

 

i believe but dont quote me that its 3" all the way through
