Default Rancho shock experience?

Anyone have an opinion of Rancho shocks, specifically the RS9000 series that are hand adjustable to change the ride? Good? Bad? Short lived? Should have just flushed your money?

Dont know about the 9000s but I had a set of the 5000s and they were pathetic. I would spend your money elsewhere, just buying a name... I would look at some bilstein shocks, or just some sensatracs or something similar. I will never get ranchos again....

My dad had the 9000's on his f150, were better than stock, but not worth the price IMO.

I heard the Rancho's were over rated big time. Supposedly, they are dressed up Monroes.
I've heard good things about Bilsteins though.

We sell them where I work and I always hear bad reviews on them.

Ranchos are Monroes with a different color paint job. Same cheap shock. Bilsteins? Now that's a good quality shock.

I had the Rancho 9000s on a F250 and you could feel the difference when you adjusted them however they sucked, I did switch them out to the Bilsteins and all I can say is wow, the Bilsteins were far more superior.

Bilstein is the way to go, I just wish they had a set out for the O6 Ram 1500 4x4. Have any of you guys heard on a ETA for these shocks?
