Default Flowmasters Super 40 video

Here's a video of my '06 Ram with 2 Super 40s starting up on a 30-degree day. Let me know if it doesn't sound right and I'll try to fix the problem. Thanks.

Sounds ok but how much you paid and how faster can it go? 1-2 horses?

i have the super 40's on my 03 and with the K&N cold air induction system. With an exhaust system you pick up like 10-15 hp. I know with mine when you put your foot in to it the cold air kit starts to howl at about 2500rpm and lets off at about 5500rpm and the exhuast system is loud when you stomp on it and under acceleration. but i love mine.

Sounds awsome, I'm doing my exhaust in the next few weeks. I was looking at the super 40's and now I think i'm convinced thats what i'm gonna get.

I have a 50 series on my '05 and my brother and all his friends swear its louder than one of their buddies that has a '04 with a 40 series. I didn't know how loud my truck was until I had my brother take it for a drive so I could hear it from outside. The bonus is that there is almost zero drone on the highway.

That is absolutely true... I like that it is quiet in the cab, but my buddies truck has the 40 series and I like how throaty and deep it is at all RPM's... Just a matter of preference I guess, Ill let you know what I find when I go and pick up the muffler.

Truck sounds good dude. Got a question for you though, I recently purchased a Flow Master 40, and will have it installed soon. Can you tell me about the exhaust pipes. Which is better? Single or Dual? or does it matter?
