I am curious if there are any CAI systems that are smog legal in California? I know K&N is pretty good about about getting CARB numbers, but not sure if they have one for the system on the '06 4.7 ram 1500. All help is appreciated, so thanks in advance.

AEM Brute force is legal. I have it on my truck and it's pretty awesome. Has the carb label right on the tube. They are made here in CA.

 

where did you buy your kit and what did it run you?

 

I got it straight from AEM Was around $350

 

Volant CAI is 50 state smog legal.

 

Does Volant have a tube that leads to the area in front of the grill? Thought I heard they do. I know they have a tube that goes to the fog light opening, but not willing to give up the fogs. Oh yeah, how do those of you who have a Volant system rate them? I know they look the best, but how much performance benefits does it give? (milage, power added?)
