I am not sure what a CTD is, but if you read the beginning of this post, you will see the direction I am going for now. I have been researching for the past 5 days and there is some sound advice from what I can tell. I am starting with the cooling fand and CAI. I will probably put on the exhaust in February, if I can make up my mind what I want.

yep one of my friends dads has a cummins with a programmer and 35s and that thing will RUN. very fast for a truck period esspecially a lifted, work truck. never been to the track but its great pulling up next to ricers and revving and they try to take you thinking their honda can whoop up on a big work truck. until theyre staring at the emblems on the tailgate.

I've said it before, but I'll repeat it anyway. I have a true dual 2.5" exhaust with 2 50 series Flows and a magnaflow X pipe for the exhaust system. If I had to do it again I would drop to the 2.25" exhaust with the 50 series and x pipe. Ford seems to think the mustangs 289's do good with 3" systems, so why not a 2.5 or 2.25" system on our trucks? I think the flowmaster system shown earlier looks pretty decent for the price. Now if I could find a CAI with a CARB number so that I could have it in Cali. (think Volant has it but not sure)

Both the FIPK system as well as the 77 series are CARB legal...

Thanks. The K&N site says the 77 is not CARB but the FIPK is.
