Default How much is a 4.7 worth

Hey everyone I am in the market for a truck and I came across a 2002 doge ram 1500 with a 5sp. and 95,000 miles. The guy is asking $9800. Do you think its worth it and how much life do you think this truck has left. It also looks well taken care of.

Well I just bought a 04 w/ 50k. V-6 5sp sl. I paid 9500. Your best bet is to check out kbb.com or the nada guides thats what I did and they said mine was worth around 12.5k.

I bought my 03 4.7 with 37k for just over 10k. Is the one you're looking at reg cab? Mine is pretty much plain. Reg. cab. manual windows and locks, auto with cruise, 20 in. factory rims.

95k is a ton of miles for that year. I would expect to pay like 8,500-9k for it though. I don't know much about the 4.7 so i can't make a statement but I would hope they would be good for 150k.

I have a 2002 with just over 85,000 miles on it... Great engine, It has takin alot of DAILY abuse and has seen WOT EVERY time I sat in the drivers seat for 85,000 miles (Minus the long distance trips where fuel economey was goal) without any issues what so ever. Great engine and its one of the MOST reliable engines Dodge has ever produced. Tried and true.

SPEED SAFE, AIR RAM
