I have a buddy, who for some reason wants to know if there is anyway to disconnect the MDS function in the 2006 Rams? If anyone knows anything please post.

I have heard that it is not possible, but I am sure someone will chime in that knows more on the topic.

I've heard there is, but to completely remove it would require changing some engine parts (lifters?) and a reflash of the pcm. Somebody mentioned this on another site when discussing putting an aggressive cam on an 06

i believe tow haul mode will turn mds off.
