06hemitrx4. I just ordered an AT3030 and am in need of some help from a fellow 06 guy with the at3030, did you take both resonators off or just one? if just one, which one was it? the one in front or behind the muffler? how was it mounted? where did you get it done? can you post some pictures of the entire setup please? I really need to get some ideas.

I have the AT 3030....I LOVE this thing!!! Got mine installed at Midas, I left both resonators in at first, just because I didnt know how loud it was going to be, less than a week later I was back at Midas getting the front resonator taken off. Now I am seriously thinking about going back and having the rear one removed.

You will love it..

Hehe I did the same thing, I have heard that if you remove both resonators the cab drone is pretty bad "With the AT3030" . It really would not bother me, my wife on the other hand has told me that my truck is loud enough. I have learned that the term "DO WHAT YOU WANT" does NOT really mean do what you want lol.

I think everyone learns that one fairly fast just like "I dont care" = I really care so do it my way, "Its ok" = Its not ok, "Go have fun with the guys , I dont mind" = I know someone who wont be getting any for a month if they leave, and of corse my favorite "I dont want that, its to expensive" = BUY IT FOR ME NOW!!!!!! OR why didn't you get that for me, I really wanted that ....

Back to the original topic all the resonator does it sit there and make your exhuast system quiet, there are no gains taking it off, but it is a waist if you go spend alot of money on an exhaust setup to not be able to hear how it was meant to be heard.

LOL. I didn't know anything about the AT3030. maybe i would have looked into that. I went with the American Thunder 50 series cat-back, Duals str8t out the back with 4"slash Cut Gibson Tips. The flowmaster Tips that come with the kits are really small. The cab sound at certain RPM's can be a bit much, But i just turn up the tunes. The first time she rode in it after the mod, Well, let me put it this way. She will NEVER ride in it again...lol.... Women!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so taking out the resonator does it make it noticably louder? and also does it make it louder if u put the tail pipe back on or just leave it off?
