Default Tires?

Hey guys i have a 2003 1500 single, whats the biggest size tire i can fit safely and with out having to lift?

I've heard 35's if the truck is leveled. I just put 285's on mine without leveling and it's awesome.

Biggest I've heard so far is 305/50R20's...guess we'll find out when I go get mine mounted soon...

I belive 285s are the biggest, they gotta cut about 2 inches off your front fender well thing, the plastic, you wont miss it tho. I dunno bout 305s, you could definetly get 35s with a levelin kit, but there would be some rubbing when you turn all the way to one side or the other.

I recently had 285 65R 20's mounted on my 05 Ram 4x4. They don't rub and fit good. they are about a 34 1/2 inch tire, so 35 will probably be close. I don't know if you have a 4 or 2 wheel drive, but you may think about it.
