Default Lift Setups

I just bought a used 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 and love it. I have experiance in lifting trucks, I have a Jeep Cherokee lifted for the trails. I wanna put a nice setup on my Ram now and i was thinking about a 6" lift with 35's possibly. Anyone have pictures of a setup like that? Whats the best company to go with in terms of which lift I want to buy? How big tires can i fit on it without having to do some cutting? I know with my Cherokee I bought the lift and tires then realized that I had to get a whole bunch of other stuff to make it driveable on the road. Will the kit come with everything I need to get it right back on the road or am I going to have to waste more money and frustrate myself because i need to fix vibrations or something?

usually complete lift kits will have everything you need to get the vehicle drivable again. you can fit 35s on a 1500 with a 2 inch leveling block on the front end. but if youre going to be offroading in it youll want more articulation than that setup will provide. with 35s a 6 inch lift will work great. provide enough articulation for tough situations without looking like it has a big lift and small tires like alot of people i see with 10-12 inch lifts and 35s or 36s. with a 6 inch lift you might be able to get 36s and with a 6 inch lift with a 3 inch body lift i THINK i heard 37s will fit with no rubbing.

Here's mine with a 6" Rough Country Lift kit on 35's...

I see a lot of Rams with a 6" kits and a 3" body lift and 37's fit with ease... You'll love it, looks and rides great.

No! When it was stock it barely fit, now there is no way it will fit.. It gets parked in the driveway. My new house Is on 2.25 acre's and I am going to build a big garage so it can be indoors.

Hey BgBluRam, I was looking at Rough Country's website, and seen that you can get 2" or 3" rear blocks. Which ones do you have on your truck?
