Default 2006 Ram O2 Sim for Hemi ?

Hey all, I'm new here. Just wondering if anyone has had any luck with the new "CAN" programmed PCM's as far as finding an O2 simulator that will work. My cats are gone and can't find a sim that will work on a 2006 Ram 1500 with 5.7 Hemi. I got one from O2simulator.com but it did not work because of the "CAN" Programmed pcm. So he was nice enough to give my money back, but did not know when one will be out. This low gas mileage with the Mil on is killing me. Thanks

have you tried the o2 sensor spacer. I punched my cats and used the spacer on my aft o2 sensors. they are only about $10 each on e-bay

I wonder in your area do they actually look for punched cats ? Several years ago I did that to a sports car I had (did some SCCA racing, was a blast). To be completely honest I didn't notice squat with our without the cat being hollow (maybe, big maybe, at like 100+ mph but on a road course you don't get there often), and when I took it to get the required state saftey / emmisions inspection the technician stuffed the sensor up the pipe and before the test was even done pulled me aside saying "I think this sucks, but the test is warning of no cat...I can see it so I know you hollowed it out". He continued saying "I'm supposed to report this, but if you just go quietly I'll look the other way and pretend I never saw you"....I didn't want trouble and so I bailed quick, borrowed a cat off a friend who had the same car, and went somewhere else to pass the test. I did ask the 2nd place if they could tell and the tech there said yes, by the percentage of various things in the exhaust....

Anyway, not to be a buzzkill, just wonder if that'll be an issue for you. Otherwise, what's the issue ? Does it just throw a CEL or ?

yea it would throw a code and stuff... people like the louder exhaust slightly better performance but you can get in trouble for not having one... some shops strictor than others...
