Default 22"wheels/38"tires on non-lifted 1500

hi,

i was wondering if anyone could help me on this.

i've checked out the Cannonball Express Dodge Ram 3500 Dually tricked out by Performance West Group (it's bad ***, see link below)

basically, it's got 22" Oasis 'Edge' wheels with 315s on them (37" or 38" tires?).

according to the articles I read on that particular custom job, there was no lift on that truck (it was actually lowered). The fender flares were, however, replaced with aftermarket Xenons, which probably created more room for the tire/wheel combo.

if this is the case, would it be possible to put the same tire/wheel combo on a non-lifted Ram 1500 (i mean, with the Xenon aftermarket fender flares)?

if anyone could help me on this, I'd appreciate it. I really would like to get a similar look on my 1500, but without a lift if possible.

here's the link:

thanks for your help!

really if you want to do that your gonna hafta cut the crap out of your fenders, there is no way you could fit 38s into you current wheel wells,

well you could im sure but you want to driv this down the road right?

I dont know where it says they lowered that truck but justlookin at the picture they lifted it, it looks to me like a small three inch lift suspension most likely by the way no frame is showing,

but my friend you have to lift a truck to get 38s under it, there is now way to get them on it without doing so.

Yeeah that truck definently has some sort of lift, you might be able to fit them in the back.

Handling and control of the Cannonball Express has also been enhanced with a lowering kit from Advantage Performance Center. Click on second page, thats where the quote comes from.
