How many Power Wagons are made?
Just bumping this back to the top, hoping that someone might know the answer. I hardly ever see another PW. I think I've only seen 3 other than mine on the road in the past year or so. That leads me to believe they don't make very many, so I was just curious how many are actually made each year.
I am looking to buy a Power Wagon immediately and I drove 3 hours to Cincinnati today to look at a regular cab. The only other one close to me (according to the dealer locator) is in Pennsylvania 8 hours away. They are rare indeed.

On a slightly different topic, the first real long road trip I took withmine was to Michigan to see relatives at Christmas. Along the way, I stopped at the Iowa 80 Truck Stop (the world's largest truck stop), where inside, they had a '49 Power Wagon on display. It was awesome, in perfect condition. I'm still kicking myself for not taking pictures of it.
I have a '05 #1758, When I was looking, I think I saw one in the 2300's, but this is not an exact number, obviously, just a guesstimate.
Hey, those with '06's-'07's, do they still number them? It was the last 4 (might be 5 now?) numbers of the VIN.
That would be a nice show toy.[sm=loveeyes.gif]
Where at? We could have had a couple beers. A 2 man PW gathering.

My '06 last 4 is 1068, which is too low for sequentially numbered for all years based on your '05.And last 5 is 81068, which is too high to believe, so I guess it's by model year?
My window sticker says "Sequentially numbered Power Wagon."
I've only seen one 3rd gen. Power Wagon anywhere other than at dealer lots. I chased him down from behind and passed him with a mutual thumbs-up! It was Mineral Gray metallic QC. The PW tail gate emblems can be seen from a long distance!
Here in Cali, there are lots of specialized Dodge dealerships. Some havemany moretrucks than cars. When I was web searching my purchase, I found one within 30 miles that had three PW's at one time. The only one I found with leather was 150 miles away, wrong color (red), and too heavily optioned. The one I got was 15 miles away and was the only Power Wagon on the lot at the time. That dealership had literally hundreds of trucks (Hartzheim Dodge- San Jose).
Most dealerships searched had zero PW's, and even Diesel trucksare hard to find although DCM sells more Diesels than gas HD trucks.
I went to a Dealer in Fresno (large farming area) and they didn't have squat, just a bunch of $50k Laramie Diesels. The Salesman there had never even heard of a Power Wagon... LOL.
