Default window shade/visors

I am looking into purchasing a window shade/visor and see there are a large variety to choose from. I am looking at more of a cosmetic look for the truck. I see some are taped on and some actually are mounted right in the window well. So tell me your thoughts and brand names that you have installed on your truck and how they are holding up. 2004 hemi guad cab 8' bed

Has anyone ever used Weather Tech side window deflectors?

I like my AVS In channel ventvisors so far, but I have only had them installed for a couple months.

They are stuck inside the window well, I like that look better than on the outside.

ventvisor works well. Go with the in-channel ones

I've had WeatherTech and VentVisor - both the "in the window channel" type - no tape. Both were great, woudl probably purchase the WeatherTech's over the VentVisors

I've had the Weathertech in-channel vent visors on every one of my last 4 trucks. In my opinion, they work great, and I've never noticed any issue with scratching the glass. If I recall some basic science from many years ago....glass is harder than plastic.

so nobody has had any scratches from the in channel ? good the guy at the shop said something about that dirt gets in there and when the window went up an down it would/could scratch the top part of the glass said they have had a lot of people complain about this happening, they gave me the same price on both but would really rather have the in channel , how do they clip in ?
