I decided I want new Rims. I have four brand new BFG R/T that are identical to the BFG on my Dodge, ( used lightly on a 04 F-150 before I gave up on Ford) I kept the tires thinging it's a great excuse to by some summer rims and the Factery Dodge ALUM rims can be my winter shoes.

In shopping arround, I'm finding it tough to find 8 bolt 17x8 aftermarket rims, any one else made the Jump?

 

American Racing has a few models in 8 lug, 17"X8", including the teflon coated Mojaves that I have on my truck. I love them so far, and if you like the black look, they will be great for winter with the teflon coating. Also, these are aluminum wheels, so you will not lose performance as you would by going with a steel wheel.

They are hard to find. The factory polished forged wheels are a great wheel. Getting a factory forged wheel is very rare thing these days. Most all are cast.

I know this is way off topic, but how are those headers? Do they make a big difference?

Was that question directed towards me?? If so, I was quite impressed with the Gibson "shorty" headers, they seem to be a good quality product, and they give the 4.7 some more power low end. (Sorry for kinda hijacking the thread.)
