Default Front Receiver Hitch

I have an 04 1500 4x4. Do all brands bolt up so the receiver in under the front valance? I measured my truck and this seems to be very low. Lower than I would like. I don't weld so fabricating something is not an option, thanks.

I'm just curious, but what do you use a front hitch for?

I tow a trailer so I would like to use the front for one of those storage racks.

or you could use it as a tow point if you have no tow hooks and get stuck in the mud.
