Gear Changing
Hi:
I own a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 equipped with a 3.7 V6, 5 speed manual, and a 3.55 Gear Axle Ratio. I have read about changing gears in this forum and feel it will be a big help to my truck. I do 95% of my driving in town. i would like to know if i should install 3.92 or 4.10 gears. Would it be much of a difference from what i am running now or is it just a waste of money. I would also like to know where i can buy these gears and also about how much is it to have them installed. Also does the speedometer and odometer need to be recalibrated? Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated. I am a high school student looking to get better acceleration and better gears to do burnouts with.
Thanks
Chris
