thats what i thought.. soo why the change the whole system just change the tube to the trueflow or the airraid mit.. i saw a guy buy the cheap ebay cai and thenused teh exhaust wrapping to keep the heat out. itactually didnt look as bad asyou would think, but it always wasnt the prettiest ive ever seen.

that the airbox/filter area on the Ram trucks
is bigger even than the LX

 

Anyone actually dyno their 2006 Hemi with the K&N filter/stock air box, versus a K&N CAI?

I am surpised if it will make much difference since the 06 air box is wide open.


Would the large tube from the box to the intake make much difference just because it's "ribbed" versus smooth??
