Most economical - 4.7 or 5.7 with MDS?
the most economical is the 4.7. your driving style is really what determines what milage you get. with identical driving styles you will get better milage (economy) with the 4.7. especially if you dont drive aggressively. the hemi is a nice engine and with MDS you wll get about 3 mpg more than without MDS. now if you are constantly towing more than 1000 everyday than maybe you could get better milage with a hemi. hope this helps.
I think that he means that he had his interior re-covered, maybe custom?!?! And I would have to agree and say that if driving styles are the same, the 4.7 would be better. But why would you want to give up the power for 1 or 2 mpg?!?!
I get about the same city mileage, and about 20% betterhiway mileage with my 06 with the 5.7 MDS compared to my 03 with the 4.7.
