Who would win?
Well for a 2000 Lightning to hit the 13's takes a pretty good driver with a good launch but for a 01-04 any descentdriver can hit the 13's. A RC Hemi with exhasut, intake, headers and a superchip will stay with a 99-00 Lightning but against a 01-04 Lightning the L will walk away alittle but add 4.56gears to the hemithen you have a race. As for the SRT-10 I have seen one with 315' Nitto tires on 20" rim's instead of the 22" run a 13.1 And the 05's are a tiny bit faster then the 04 SRT-10 due to the addition of the 4.56gear ratio.

I have already ran my truck in the 1/4 and the best timeI have posted is a 13.89 @ 101mph.

I'll take my Ram over a lightning any day....I test drove one, came down to whether to buy the Ram or the ford. The lightning is just a slow sports car with a truck body. It is about absolutely useless for anything else.

ford is dumb that way, the only way a ford can make power is if its a blown motor otherwise the rest of the fords are poopoo slow >> lol

I can tell you one way that a Dodge 1500 can beat a lightening. Head on. I had an idiot in an f-150 run a red light and hit my 05 head on. Totalled his truck and my air bag didnt deploy....he spent 9 days in the IC at MCG.
I would rather have my anchor, that can take a beating, than a fast weak lightening.

That is true phatboy. The thread was not about towing or crash test rating though. It was about who would win in a race. 410hp hasn't raced his friend yet because he would lose. I still would prefer my ram over an L though, that's why I bought one. 410, there's no need to cut down bgblue. I guarentee there are guys on here that have less powerful trucks than you but know more about motors than you do.
