Default Super Chips!

I want one, but afraid of what it might due as far as tearing apart my transmission and other parts along the drivetrain

My buddy has his mustang GT hooked up to that, tore apart his tranny. My cousin has a 2500 chevy diesel, on his 3rd tranny

What are your thoughts on this idea? Any problems from you guys with the super chips? how many miles are on your trucks? cure my fear!

Dont sweat the little things. You wont tear up a tranny with a tuner,Mother Mopar made sure of that when she sealed the pcm.The only thing that will happen is that your shifts will be somewhat firmer because you can set the shift RPM higher.I have had mine programed for a year now,32,500 miles on the truck,no probs at all

The only problem I have with it is there aren’t enough options for me. I'd like to do the timing and trans pressure individually. None of the options totally satisfy me. 87 octane option retards the timing too much. Power mode tells the accelerator computer to throw a bunch of throttle at first. I could go on but don't worry about it. It's not going to drastically change anything that will damage your truck.

i wouldn't bother with it. With the money you would spend on a Superchip, take that and spend it on a pair of Pacesetters Long Tube headers. Gauranteed power and torque increases and also better mpg. Take the Headers, they're the best bet.

Going on a year with all the programs in it at various times, plus the wonderful option of DTC reader (haven't had to use it on mine yet, but came in handy to talk to my wife's Liberty computer)

Brand new I've seen them from 350 to 450. I'd look for a used one. Mine's not a Flashpaq, but I got a reg tuner used for 200 shipped, no problems yet. Nice thatthe Flashpaq's are online updateable.
