RE: 2006 4x4 HEMI Leveling Kit
If you already purchased the leveling kit, call the vendor and ask if new shocks are required. I have owned some 4x4 trucks that required a differential drop kit when a leveling kit was installed (Toyota Tundra), but have never leveled a truck (including 2 Titans and one Tundra) where replacing the shocks was required. Best advice? Call where you bought it and ask them.
With respect to how difficult to install? If you're mechanically inclined and have the right tools, it usually is not too bad a job. If not, you're better off taking it to a shop that does suspension work. And don't forget....after the leveling kit is installed, the front end will need an alignment.

RE: 2006 4x4 HEMI Leveling Kit
You can use your factory shocks with the leveling kit for the 06 rams but it stretches them to the max.. It is recomended by the off road dealers that i have talked to that you install new shocks on the front..It also will give the truck a better ride if you replace them.. Has anyone installed one of these on one of the 06 rams with the 20" wheels yet?? Just curious as to what it looks like...
