The way I understand it, when you start to put bigger tires on a rim, how tall they are really doesn't matter, it's how wide they are. For example if you are going to put 37 x 15.5" tires on, you don't need to put them on a 8" wide rim! Most manufacturers websites have the recomended rim width for each individual tire size. I recommend you look at that before making your decision!

I guess it depends on how your truck is set up. There is another post on here where they were talking about 37's on a Powerwagon. You might look for that post for helpful insight. I know they wouldn't fit on a 1500 lifted less than 6". My truck has a leveling kit (3"), and the 35x13.50R18 barely fit, and rub on full lock turns. Hope that helps.

Yeah, It depends on what his stock wheel is too.
He provides no info at all...
The Power Wagonhas an 8 inch wide forged aluminum wheel that has a special feature to help retain the bead on the rim.
Normally,they recommendat least an8.5" wide wheel for that size tire.
