I have an 04 quad cab 2wd ram 1500. I just got a quote to put a 3inch lift on it for the front end, which would basically level out the truck. I was quoted a Rough Country lift which I guess replaces the stock spindles with new spindles. Has anyone used this type of lift before? I think I want to put Nitto grappler 285/70/17 on it. I am being told that I can't use my stock 17"rim without a spacer or I have to buy new rims does this make sense. I am looking for any help you all can provide me on this. I love the look of lifting the truck but I want it to be safe for the family as well what do you think??? Thanks again for the help.
