Default dual exhaust.

i just had cat-back dual exhaust put on my truck last week for x-mas. It sounds great, i love it. its a simple cat back 2" with an IMCO muffler. sounds awesome, roars in the 2500-3000 range. i was driving outta town for the holidays, when the ABS and brake warning lights come on. the mechanic who put it on apparently decided it would be a good idea to bend the drivers side tube so it sits a few inches from the differential housing. thats right where the wheel speed sensor wires are, needless to say it melted the wires and thats whats throwing my dummy lights. no mechanical problems that i can tell. but im thinking should i get it fixed here, but take pics first, and hand the shop the bill when i get home?

If your "dummy lights", are on, your abs has been disabled. Nota big issue if youbrake accordingly, so watch out on wet surfaces.

Hope you had a great Christmas.

i would call the shop and inform them of what you intend to do. Also, to protect the wires, I would look at having a heat shield fabbed up and installed.
