I have an 02 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L with I assume a 46RE 4spd. AT I just got last week. I dont have a service manual or much knowledge of Dodges period. Im a Ford fan
So if I could get the FACTORY fluid and filter specifications Id appreciate it. Just list the part number/fluid weight/brand/fluid capacity to where applicable:
-Engine Oil/Filter
-Air Filter
-Fuel Filter
-46RE ATF/Filter
-Coolant
-Power Steering fluid (Should be same as ATF. Askin anyways.)
-Gear oil
-Spark plug/gap
-PCV Valve
Also wondering:
-Grease Points? Are there any? What ones? Any specific grease? Most newer vehicles there isnt any, but thought Id ask anyways.
-Last thing.....What does it say in the service manual for recommended octane grade for the 5.9L? Is it 87 or 89?
Thanks for anything you can put forth.
