Do you know if this thing holds up when in water or will it short out? Does it have an on off switch?

...yup, what he said...by taking the stock fan off the crank it lessens the crank drag, it's an obvious and noticeable performance mod...i'm still smilin with mine...
Perhaps chefred112 can elaborate some as I think he has installed one on his truck.
