Not sure if anyone else received this info, but I just got two recalls in the mail. The first (F41) is for the front passenger seat belt, the other (F40) is for the passenger airbag cushion. I didnt see these in the recall section of the forum, thought I would throw them out there for those who hadnt been notified yet.

 

they actually released this recall a couple months ago, but didn't send out the info until they had a large supply of parts ready. The recall isn't anything super serious, it is simply to allow for more rear facing child seats to be used in the front passenger seat. However, in my opinion, it is always safer to have your child's safety seat in the back seat.

 

I agree, children belong in the back whenever possible. However, if they are offering to do this work, I am going to let them take care of it. Wouldnt want something to happen to the next owner down the road.

Is there a reason its not posted in the recall section?
