Default bleeder relocation??

Well I have a replacement caliper that is for the wrong side thanks to i guess miscommunication somewhere along ordering it. So now the bleeder valve on the caliper is on the low side, so now I cant bleed the air out of my calipers. And those calipers are built identical. All the difference is, is where the bleeder valve is located. theres a spot for where its suppose to be. I have a new caliper coming for free next wednesday but then again i still dont have a truck to drive. Is it possible to drill out and relocate the bleeder or do you think the drilling and getting metal in the calipers would mess things up worse?

I wouldn't drill or modify.

You might be able to hold it loosely upside down (so it would be right side up if it were on the right side of the truck). Place two new pads and possibly a 1 inch board between the calipers and bleed that way, off the actual rotor.

Sounds like a better idea than trying to drill through a caliper and tapping the bleeder valve into it haha

Yep - especially if it's temporary - if they're truly identical except for the bleeder being on the top/bottom then this shoudl work fine until you need to bleed them again. Just make sure that you've got something that is about the same thickness as the rotor and two pads when you do it.
