Need some quick help please.

I have the standard 20" chrome clads with the Goodyear Wrangler 275x60xR20

What's the largest tyre I can go on these rimswithout rubbing please?
Coming from the UK, we have little/no experience with tyres on these trucks.
Any and all help appreciated.

I am not sure you can go past 33"'s without some lift or leveling kit.

My plan is to eventually get a 4-5" lift and load up some 35"s.

 

305/55/20 Toyo and Nitto make tires in this size. As does BFG.


ive heard of some folks going to a 35 inch tire, but your not leaving much for suspension travel.

 

305/50R20 Goodyear GTII's

 

so 33's are the biggest with no lift... anyone have any pics of the way this looks on teh stock 20s. chrome clad or the aluminum finish ones??

I'm running 285 65R 20's, which are about 35 in tires. I haven't had any rubbing whatsoever, but I also haven't had them hardcore wheeling yet. When I originally went to get the tires they had sent one wrong size tire on accident, 305 60R 20, which is about 36 inches.We mounted it and put it on the truck and it almost cleared. It just barely rubbed on the inner wheel well up front, but with the steering wheel hard over the lugs contacted the sway bar pretty hard. BTW these are BFG AT's. I'm sure they would have fit with a 2 in lift or leveling kit. Hope this helps.

 

you talking street tire or off raodin tire?
street tires are 305/50/20

 

correction, I meant 315 65R 20's, not 305 60R 20's

 

315 's fit?! wait do u have a lift?
