Ride Quality on the FWY

RE: Ride Quality on the FWY
A MUST do, that's cheap, is to have your wheels road-force balanced. My 06 1500 was doing this too, and after 4 dealer attempts at balancing the wheels the traditional way, the bounce was still there. They finally paid to road-force balance the wheels, at a Discount Tire, and they had to rotate 3 out of 4 tires on the rims.If the wheels aren't mounted properly (they never are at a dealership) they willalways come out of balance prematurely.
Road-force balancing gives the wheels a permanent starting point work with on future balancing. It alignesthe heaviest spot of the tire, with the lightest spot of the rim. You may have to call around to ask who has a road-force balance machine. Worked for me, without added weight in the bed.
