HeadLamp Switch Failure?
Hey guys,
New member to the boards, been a Ram owner for about 4 years now and enjoyed every minute of it. Got a minor problem with my 02 Ram 1500 v8 4.7. Basically, the problem that I am having is that when I try to turn off my lights, they don't do it and typically stay on for roughly 7 to 10 minutes after shutting off the vehicle.
When I set the switch to off totally, the fog lamps come on.
When I set the switch to just parking lamps, they are on.
When I set the switch to just driving lamps, they are on.
And the fog lamps work with all corresponding settings as well.
I think I have narrowed down the problem to the headlamp switch, but after going through AllData and every thing else that I have access to I just can't fing a wiring schematic or an image to show what the circuit needs to look like. I believe part of my circuit has meshed with another so that its continously giving power to the fog lamps once I turn the lights to the off position.
If anyone could post a pic of thier headlamp switch circuit board or a link to where I might find one I would really appreciate it.
Thanks
