Default Another Tire Size Question

Vehicle is an '03 2500 quadcab with the CTD and Banks six gun tuner (so power loss etc...is not a factor). I recently bought a set of the factory '06 chrome clad wheels (17x8) and I love the way they look. Current tires have 60K miles andarefactorysize 265x70x17, I believe, and look really small. I want to fill the wheel wells more and am wondering what size will help achieve this. I don't want to lift the truck (tows a fifth wheel) or have too much rubbing, but don't mind some bulge. Any suggestions/pics are appreciated.

I have an 03 1500 4x4 with 17's and I just put 285/70 Toyo a/t and love them. I probably could have gone a bit bigger but wasn't willing to take the chance of rubbing. I'm sure you could squeeze a size bigger in there.

put a levling kit on the front and you can run 33's easy without any rubbing. my buddy did this to his 03 CTD and loves it.also have another buddy who went with the leveling kit and put 35's on some 18's on his 06 megacab and doesn't have any rubbing issues that he's spoke of.

I did the front leveling kit and threw a set of Toyo 285X75X17's (approx. 34" tires) on some Ultra wheels....much better traction in the snow and it fills the wheel wells up without rubbing..
