Does anyone have a pic of an aftermarket regular size head unit in a newer Ram. I'd like to see how the mounting kit looks. I'm not sure what year they switched to the new radios with the two round ***** on both sides.

Dont really know what kind it is. It came with the head unit from Crutchfield.

 

Thats not an '06 install, thats on '02-'05, as the '06 has the new dashboard, or at least mine does.

 

i plan on getting this installed custom soon. i think it will look nice, i know alot of people like the flip out tvs but i like them just permantly in there. i love it its just pricey.

I was thinking about this too in my 06. I'm just not sure how good it will look with my wood grain though. Dodge kind of screwed us for aftermarket head units with how they did these decks.

 

What year is your truck? My dash is completely different.
