Default Power Mirrors Help

My power mirrors just quit working. I have checked all the fuses and none are blown. The truck is out of warranty so I would like to troubleshoot this myself. Does anyone have any ideas?

Its a 2005 Quad Cab 5.7L and they are heated, power mirrors.

If both sides quit at the same time I would think it was the switch. Have you had the door panel off for any reason? Maybe the plug under the panel came loose. When i installed my speakers and put the panel back on, my door locks didnt work I didnt have the plug all the way in. Plugged it back in and they work fine. Try unpluging it and plugging it back in.

Um...stupid question, but are you sure that the left/right selector switch is not in the middle position? Neither will work that way.

yes I am positive the selector is in the correct position. It does not work on both sides so my first thought was the switch also.
I will try taking off the door panel and checking the switch.
