Just purchased 2007 Ram!!
I just purchased a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab 2x4 with the following:
Inferno Red Crystal Pear Coat
Laramie H Pkg
20" Chrome Clad Aluminum Wheels
Tow Package
HEMI with MDS
I upgraded from a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 sport 4x4 with the 4.7 with 75,000 trouble free miles.
My '02 Ram averaged 14MPG during its life and I just accepted it, and expected the 2x4 Hemi to get about the same (increase displacement and remove front axle, transfer case ect). I was SHOCKED to see that I am getting 18-19 MPG around town!!! Not only that but this truck can haul BUTT!!! my '02 you could floor and slowly pass someone...with the Hemi's 345HP I can eaisly give half throttle and soar past the person I am passing...I am VERY impressed with this new motor!!
