I had both resonators and the stock muffler removed. Added a Flowmaster Super 40 SI/SO.

Perfect! What did that run you?

 

Total $200 installed. Arkansas Performance Exhaust. Three trips total. First, I had just the stock muffler removed. Next, I had them remove the front resonator. Then I had them remove the rear resonator and add the FM Super 40. Now I am considering a cutout.

It sounded really boggy with no resonators and no muffler. Can really hear MDS kick in on freeway. Not the worst sound but different. Now with FM Super 40 the sound is somewhat deeper and not as noticeable when MDS kicks in. Still will take some getting used to. I like it so far!

 

I will try the Flowmaster HD 50 with out muffler and with out the 2 resonators, did you have heard the 50 HD?? I think he will be a little bit quieter and the sound will be deeper then the 40?? Is this right?? In Germany the cops are not so tolerant like in the USA [sm=americanasmiley.gif]

Have not heard the FM50 HD. Will not be quite as loud but I have heard others say they sound a little deeper. I think I may add a cutout for those times when I want my truck to be really loud!
