just wondering if any of you guys with a hemi are using the Aero Turbine 3030 i recently picked one up and was wondering how it sounded and if any gain at all with them i was thinking about dumping it right underneath the back seat

i was also thinkin about removing the converter but dont know if that would be good idea

 

i would push it further back under the bed. mine is in the stock location and i get good resonance in the cab. not so much that it gets annoying, more then enough to make you smile. performance gains are pretty typical for a catback.

 

YeahI have one and it's amazing, the sound is great. What year is your truck? On my 06 I left the first resonator and had the aero installed where the stock muffler is at thenI had the last resonator removed and a straight peice of 3 inch exhaust tubing welded in there. It is not super loud which is what I wanted but it has a good low tone. cruising at highway speeds is not bad at all the in cab resonance is almost obsolete. However, when I hit WOT it sounds like a hemi should. The mds sound is not bad either, I can barely tell when it kicks in unlike the flowmaster guys. Performance gains, I'm not sure. It feels like there is more low end jump but it doesn't feel like much. However, a high flowing muffler will let the air move ALOT smoother and give you less back pressure, intern giving more power. Go with the AT3030 it's great.

 

i have an 03 i havent really looked underneath havent had a chance to do you know if i was to take off the converters and resonators if they are there still and just run the 3030 would it be alright you think or would it screw up my pressure and what not also you guys have any sound clips i have had my truck for about 2 months now and it sounds good stock but I want to scream

I have the AT 3030 on my truck. I love it and wouldn't change to anything else. I just had them remove the stock muffler and replace it with the AT. I even left the stock resonator on. I pull a travel trailer with my truck and you can really hear it under load, at start up and wot. It's pricey, but I think it's well worth the money. Good luck!
